In January and February 2003 Abertay University hosted two interactive debates on the future of tourism in Scotland led by Terry Stevens and Chaired by Alf Young, one of Scotland’s most respected business journalists.

The panel for both events included:

Professor Derek Reid, Abertay University

Peter Lederer, Chair VisitScotland

Derek Browns, Heritage Brands Manager of Edrington Group

Ivan Broussine, Scottish Tourism Forum

Over 30 attended the first session, with almost 70 attending the February workshop, addressed by Alex Neil, Convenor of the Scottish Parliament’s Inquiry into Tourism.
